It is a more concentrated form of perfume/cologne that allows for a larger quantity of pure fragrance oil, and should be expected to last between 3-5 hours on human skin. EDP can have a strong alcohol smell in the bottle but when sprayed on skin, the alcohol evaporates quickly and the fragrance remains on your skin.
