What is a tester? : Testers are products manufactured by the original designer of the fragrances for promotional purposes only. In some cases, they are more concentrated and better for more people to attract.The testers on this website are brand new, unused bottles with 100% of the fragrance still in them without any damage or defect. Some testers are offered in simply white or brown plain boxes with or without a cap. Some might even have the word 'tester' or demonstration written on the bottle. Some Testers come without boxes, but are packaged well to get to the destination safe, without a scratch. Our individual levels of pH will determine how each ingredient in a fragrance will react.
How can I make my scent last longer? - Fragrance lasts longer on some people than on others because of differences in our skin (oily or dry) and in our pH levels. To achieve a longer affect, try layering your fragrance. Using the fragrance bath gel, (if the company offers one), then the moisturizer or powder, and then the EDT, EDP, or EDC, will usually have a longer lasting effect. Also, apply your fragrance low on the body, as well as behind your ears and on your neck, so that the scent rises and you wont lose it as quickly. A light spray on the hair can last all day.
How can I keep my fragrance from going bad? - Keep all fragrance in a cool, dry area, and away from windows as sunlight can unbalance the various ingredients. An opened bottle should be kept in its box to insure a longer shelf life.
CONCENTRATIONS
Concentrations: A fragrance comes in four different levels of concentration. The higher the concentration, the more the price. They are as follows from least concentrated to most:
Eau de Cologne (EDC) - this is the least concentrated amongst the four levels fragrance lasts up to 2 hours
Eau de Toilette (EDT) - this is more concentrated and most popular type. It lasts up to 2-3 hours.
Eau de Parfum (EDP) - this is the second most concentrated type of fragrance that lasts up to 6 hours.
Parfum de Toilette (PDT) - this is the second most concentrated type of fragrance that lasts up to 6 hours (same as EDP).
Perfume or Parfum - this is the most highly concentrated type of fragrance that lasts all day with least application.
