The main difference between body spray/mist and perfume is the concentration of them, and the amount of aromatic compounds that you will find in them. Within "perfume" there are several subcategories...I sell EDP (Eau De Parfum), Dry Oil Spray, Roll on Cologne/Perfume Oils, Solid Perfume/Cologne Sticks and Body Spray. Body Sprays have the  lowest concentration of fragrant compounds. \ Liquid Body Sprays and Body Splash-- These are water based, not alcohol based products. You can expect to reapply every 2-3 hours but people vary. It is advised to apply to clothing and hair as well. Even to layer over similar scented lotions (i sell all scents in lotions, soaps, shaving soaps, etc) The benefit of Body Spray is most obvious the quantity and the price . You get more for your money but you also should not expect it to last as long as a traditional $60-$80 Perfume either. It is an inexpensive way to have a variety of scents! I recommend you give it a try because for the price you will have a fair chance to see if you like it, how long it lasts on you, etc...and I hope you will be pleased! :) Other types I sell:

Dry Oil or EDP - These are sprays that contain a higher percentage of fragrance, usually with an oil or silicone base. Commercially produced colognes and perfumes can be produced with a high percentage of alcohol   -

Roll-On Perfumes. These are oil-based fragrances with strong fragrance. They tend to be more long lasting. 1/3 ounce roll on tubes. - 

Solid Perfumes. These are also called balm of oil. They can be produced with waxes and natural butters. They tend to have a strong fragrance and are long lasting.  (same as chapstick container) -

Ingredients: PEG-7 Caprylic/Capric Glycerides (and) Polyglycerol-7 Dioleate (and) Glyceryl Caprylate/Caprate NO ALCOHOL is used in my body sprays.
